Free Compliance Reports

As part of the QSI Quality Assurance & Compliance Program, QSI have developed a notification service for your local Water Authority to advise of a planned installation, plus a post installation report for interested parties, including the customer, plumber & Water Authority.

This is how it works.

When an order is placed with QSI, & prior to installation, QSI email a notification of proposed installation to the relevant Water Authority which includes detail provided by the reseller or customer.

This notification confirms seating & volume capacity, & whether above or below ground installation, as denoted by the “A” for above and “B” for below ground.

The information forwarded to Sydney Water prior to installation, also forms part of the compliance report generated free of charge, for participants in the installation, ranging from Hydraulic Engineer, Estimator, Plumber, Customer and Water Authority.

During installation, the plumber emails QSI photos using his mobile phone of key compliance points, including venting to atmosphere, the use of an RPZ on a cold water tap within 5 metres of the installation, an RPZ on the Water Authority’s boundary meter, reflux valve if applicable, bollards, strainers, floor waste units.

QSI review & compile a free compliance report forwarded to relevant parties.

I (QSI National Trade Waste Representative) have reviewed the plumber’s compliance report and photographs of the installation. I verify that the equipment is installed in accordance with all the requirements of the current version of the QSI grease arrestor installation and maintenance program, that it is fit for the intended application and all necessary adjustments have been made to allow the system to operate in its intended capacity as required by the Trade Waste Permit.
Photographs of the installation are attached to this email.
